Are you ready to take the next big step in your culinary career? Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire is looking for a Pizza Chef who shares our passion for food and cooking and is willing to learn from and contribute to our culinary team. This is for a new concept openpng on our terrace.
The Pizza Chef will be a key position in our dynamic culinary team providing memorable culinary experiences to our guests. This position reports to our Executive Chef, Talha Barkin.
You will:

Have masterclass Pizza-making skills with a passion for pizza.

Be highly skilled in making Neapolitan-style, pizza: making and stretching dough and baking in a stone-based marana oven, and able to teach these skills to others.

Be r esponsible for not only your area of the kitchen but the maintenance of our high hygiene level for the whole kitchen, along with the other chefs.

Undertake daily duties that include making dough, food preparation, cleaning and general team work in the rest of the kitchen.

Prepare and store pizza dough and pizza sauces. Prepare pizzas both on and off menu.

Support the wider kitchen team with food preparation.

Monitor and maintain food standards, presentation, and quality of ingredients

Organize all stocks and ordering on a weekly basis.

Ensure all daily checks are completed and report any issues of faulty equipment to management.

Ensure allergen information is kept up to date.

Ensure cooking stations are sanitized and prepared with necessary tools.

Direct the food preparation process and delegate tasks within the team.

Assist the Executive Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes.
We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of food and are passionate to develop their management skills within the hotel industry, have creativity and flair and the ability to provide guidance to others, and are able to evidence good business acumen and a strong work ethic.
A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule and the ability t o work weekends and holidays. You will a ssist in any other areas or duties in the kitchen as required by the Sous Chef or the Executive Chef and be flexible to work in other areas when required.
