Scanway Catering is currently seeking for two professional, experienced Pastry Chefs / Cooks to work in our downtown commercial catering kitchen.
The Pastry Chef / Cook will work in the catering kitchen to support day-to-day catering operations and will have an understanding of offsite catering.
The Pastry cook will be responsible for:
- preparing desert dishes including cakes, pastries, etc.
- providing offsite events with a wide variety of food items
- maintaining the food costs and records of inventory
- Cooking and handling the items
- preparing dishes as per food allergies and intolerances
Requirements:
- Certificate in Culinary Arts and pastry making will be an asset
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- Experience in working in a team
Experience required:
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience is required
Salary offered:
15.00 $ per hour
