Line Cooks

A busy restaurant in Montreal is currently seeking to hire 3 Line cooks for their busy kitchen.

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a kitchen.

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
  • Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
  • Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers

 

Job Requirements

  • Professional cooking diploma
  • Knowledge of sauces, topping and cooking
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
  • Must be able to work variable shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Punctuality
