Line Cook

Description of duties to include but not limited to the following:

  • Setting up and stocking any stations with necessary items for efficient food preparation.
  • Prepare any necessary items for food service (chopping vegetables, grinding meat, portioning food items, etc.).
  • Cook menu items in coordination with the other kitchen staff.
  • Answer and follow any instructions given by kitchen managers and front of house managers.
  • Clean and sanitize workstation and properly store leftover food items as instructed.
  • Stock and replenish inventory as appropriate.
  • Ensure food plates are completed in a timely fashion and in coordination with other plates from other stations in the kitchen.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach and demeanor with guests, coworkers, and management.
  • Attend any department and / or food safety / alcohol safety meetings to keep compliance with company policies.
