Sodexo has an opportunity for a General Manager/ Chef Manager for the breathtaking campus at Colorado Mountain College (CMC) located in the resort community of Steamboat Springs CO. This campus features an open air kitchen feeding 200 students, faculty, staff, and community members in an all-you-care-to-eat format. We also have our unique retail shop with locally roasted coffees, sandwichs and pastries, and Catering for on and off site events. Sustainability is an important part of the college’s mission. CMC includes a culinary program that shares some space with the main kitchen.

Are You the One we are looking for? This GM/Chef Manager position is an excellent opportunity to grow into full operations management! Reporting to the Area General Manager, the ideal candidate will possess:

Strong Culinary management experience in large volume food operations.
Proven decision-making background in a key leadership role.
Previous experience with sustainability initiatives.
Experience in managing and developing teams, both Front and Back of the House.
Strong financial background.
Excellent client relationship skills; strong comfort interacting with all levels of the college administration.

culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;

a desire to learn and grow – while developing your team in their culinary skills.

Budgeted Salary Range for this great career growth opportunity is $ 69,000 – $79,000.
