DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists culinary team with cooking and prepping
Knowledge of all culinary aspects
Cleaning and organizing of all related work equipment and areas
Preparation and stocking for daily operation
Butchering of meats and poultry
Basic soup and sauce preparation
Basic dessert preparation
Able to cut, slice, chop and peel vegetables and fruits
Restocking, cleaning and organizing all related work equipment and areas
Prepare food to quality and presentation standards, ensuring all guidelines and recipes are met
Positive and professional interaction between co-workers
Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Any other duties as assigned or directed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to read, understand and follow recipes
Minimum two years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant(s) and banquet experience
Valid Food Safe Certificate (Levels 1)
Must be willing to undergo and pass a criminal record check
Outgoing, professional, customer driven individual with strong people skills
Must be a team player who works well with others with ability to work unsupervised
Good organizational skills
Dependable and reliable with a demonstrated commitment to service excellence
Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, nights and weekends
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
