LANGSIDE CAMPUS
30 HOURS PER WEEK, MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 7am to 2pm.
TERM TIME (38 WEEKS PER YEAR)
The College is seeking an experienced Cook to provide an efficient and effective Catering service at our lovely Langside Campus.
This role has responsibility for providing the full range of meals, portion control, meeting hospitality requirement and responding to special dietary requirements. There is also responsibility for maintaining appropriate records regarding the CookSafe system and managing daily stock levels, including ordering and delivering daily menus within the agreed budget. Excellent hygiene practices and standards of cleanliness are important to us and must be maintained in accordance with Health & Safety policy and Food Hygiene legislation.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced cook who is fantastically organised and has good verbal and written skills and who is enthusiastic to develop and maintain good working relationships with the Catering and wider College team, customers and suppliers. It is essential the postholder has a Catering qualification (SCQF Level 4) and an Elementary Hygiene Certificate, as well as sound knowledge of the CookSafe system.
The role enjoys the benefit of College holidays, all public holidays, a generous pension contribution and other staff benefits.
Salary: £16, 962.09 per annum (inclusive of holiday pay)
