Job Description
Our client, who is successfully running an Indian Cuisine Restaurant in Vancouver, BC, Canada, is looking to hire a Cook, who can prepare a wide variety of Indian foods. The job descriptions include, but not limited to, the following:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Set up and oversee buffets as and when required
- Keep kitchen and work area clean
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies in consultation with the Chef.
Requirements
Experience in Indian Curry and Tandoor is desirable
No formal education is mandatory but good to have
Minimum 3-5 year of work experience in the related field
