Description of duties to include but not limited to the following:
- Setting up and stocking any stations with necessary items for efficient food preparation.
- Prepare any necessary items for food service (chopping vegetables, grinding meat, portioning food items, etc.).
- Cook menu items in coordination with the other kitchen staff.
- Answer and follow any instructions given by kitchen managers and front of house managers.
- Clean and sanitize workstation and properly store leftover food items as instructed.
- Stock and replenish inventory as appropriate.
- Ensure food plates are completed in a timely fashion and in coordination with other plates from other stations in the kitchen.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach and demeanor with guests, coworkers, and management.
- Attend any department and / or food safety / alcohol safety meetings to keep compliance with company policies.
