Old Vines Restaurant is looking to fill the position of Demi Chef de Partie. This is a great opportunity for a well-rounded cook to take the next steps in their culinary career by directly working with the senior chefs to support the operation of running a successful kitchen. Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Assist CDP and Sous Chefs in the day to day running of the front-line station
  • Daily organization of service and walk in coolers
  • Proper rotation and usage of stock
  • Support daily mis en place

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a formal chef training program
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • 2+ years of cooking experience in a fine dining establishment
  • The flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure in an efficient and safe manner

Wage range: $20.00-$21.00, paid overtime.
