What does a Cook do at Skyline?

• Prepare food items using standardized recipes
• Determine food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours
• Prepare all special dietary needs as directed by the Resident Menus
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures
• Responsible for following all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling
• Assist with proper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules

Schedule

• Full time
• Tuesday – Saturday, 1pm to 9pm

What we’re looking for from you:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Experience:  Previous experience as cook preparing full line of menu items
• Requirements:  Able to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.  Able to prepare therapeutic/modified diets
• Excellent Attitude: Positive, encourage, can-do attitude
• Customer Service:  Care about provide exceptional service to residents, team members, and visitors to our community.
