Full Job Description
Description: The Cook I is responsible for a variety of cooking duties including preparation, assembly and serving of menu items in accordance with standardized recipes and established procedures and standards. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE General Support Services Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:Required Qualifications: A Journeyman certificate is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Grade 12 or equivalent. Minimum two [2] years of recent institutional food service experience, large quantity cooking experience, required. Will consider a recognized equivalent or demonstrated recent and related experience. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Basic knowledge of regular and special diets, required. Basic computer skills, required. Food Safe Certification. Clear Criminal Records Check. Please note: Classifications Under Review.
