Skills and experience you will bring to us:
- Effectively supervises all kitchen staff and all culinary operations for assigned shifts/all shifts and maintains departmental procedures and controls.
- Fills staffing shortages during days off and PTO times for Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chefs, Executive Sous Chef / Executive Chef
- Effectively works on multiple projects: prepares menus, develops recipes, controls food/labor costs, and assists in the preparation of departmental budgets/forecasts/reports.
Your knowledge that matters most for this role:
- 5-7 years of previous culinary experience is preferred in fine and casual dining multi-outlet, with knowledge in specialized culinary skills including sushi and smoking.
- Must possess previous supervisory experience.
