Janes Next Door in Halifax is looking to hire a Baker for their new location in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Position: Full-time, permanent
Salary: $15.00 per hour, 35-40 hours per week
Education: Culinary Certificate is must
Experience: 7 months -1 year work experience is required
Job duties:
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Prepare special orders
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- Operate machinery
- Organize and maintain inventory
