Executive Chef

We are currently seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to join our management team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading the culinary team and overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations for our Nuri Steakhouse brand. This position will be responsible for the strategic direction, innovation, and execution of our culinary offerings, ensuring the highest level of quality, taste, and presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Culinary Services Director and our management team to create an innovative and appealing menu that aligns with the brand’s concept, vision, and target market, including new concept development as needed.
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, guaranteeing consistency and culinary excellence in every dish.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented team of kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, excellence, and creativity.
  • Create and enforce rigorous quality control measures, ensuring all dishes meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
  • Efficiently manage food inventory, oversee ordering processes, and implement cost-control strategies to maximize profitability while minimizing waste.
  • Take full ownership of enforcing and upholding strict adherence to health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and impeccable sanitation practices throughout the kitchen.
  • Collaborate closely with the management team to craft exclusive menus and personalized dining experiences for the private member-only lounge and private dining room, ensuring a unique and luxurious culinary journey.
  • Partner with the management team to develop budgets, monitor labor and food costs, and contribute to the financial success and growth of the restaurant.
  • Interact with guests, seeking feedback, and adjusting the menu and dining experience based on guest preferences.

You Should Possess the Following Attributes:

  • Possess a distinguished culinary background with a demonstrated expertise in steak preparation and mastery of grilling techniques.
  • Excellent culinary creativity skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Budgeting and financial management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and to coordinate communication across diverse work groups.
  • Promote the culture, values, and mission of our brand(s).
